How do I start my film career after high school?
I am a senior in High School and graduating this June 2010
but I don’t know what to do?
Go to LA film School or go to a regular college
I already want to get in the industry!
Or get an internship somewhere in Hollywood?
Last Choice Go to Community College then transfer to USC and from there launch my career??
The only thing film school will do is introduce you to a lot of beginners such as yourself — some (not all) will make it and be "worth" knowing down the road. It will also put you in a lot of debt.
I suggest that you grab your associate’s degree from a decent 2-year college or junior college, while working part-time, then head to LA and start checking out smaller studios. Look for the glass door with gold writing and tell them you’ll take any job, ANY job, they have. Kiss some serious ass. You’ll start small, but move up quickly. Give a shout-out to me in your first big film, OK?
